m3pl: A Work-FLOWS ontology extension to extract choreography interfaces

چکیده
Cross-organisational interoperability is a key issue for success in B2B e-commerce applications. To achieve this interoperability, choreography descriptions are necessary that describe how the business partners can cooperate. In existing approaches, these choreography descriptions are independent of the internal workflows of the partners. We present a framework for extracting choreography interface descriptions from internal workflow models. Our approach comprises two steps: first we map internal workflow models into a intermediary formal model, then we generate choreography interfaces from it. In this paper we present m3pl, an ontology extension based upon the First Order Ontology for Web Services (FLOWS) [2]. The extensions provide relations to model workflow views and choreography interfaces.

Ontology-based and Automatic Generation of Service Interfaces from Several Choreographies
Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is a paradigm for developing distributed and heterogeneous software applications within and across organizational boundaries. Choreography is a coordination model of SOA in which service collaborations to achieve a common goal are described from global point of view. One of the most important issues in SOA is identifying required services and their interfaces...
متن کاملConTag: A Semantic Tag Recommendation System
ConTag is an approach to generate semantic tag recommendations for documents based on Semantic Web ontologies and Web 2.0 services. We designed and implemented a process to normalize documents to RDF format, extract document topics using Web 2.0 services and finally match extracted topics to a Semantic Web ontology. Due to ConTag we are able to show that the information provided by Web 2.0 serv...

Cross-organisational interoperability is a key issue for success in B2B ecommerce applications. To achieve this interoperability, choreography descriptions are necessary that describe how the business partners can cooperate. In existing approaches, these choreography descriptions are disconnected from the internal workflows of the partners. We present an ontology that unifies both internal and ...
متن کاملReasoning Tasks and Mediation on Choreography and Orchestration in WSMO
The Web Service Modelling Ontology (WSMO) semantically describes the core elements of Semantic Web Services, aiming at a framework for unambiguous formal descriptions on which inference mechanisms shall enable automated discovery, composition, execution and invocation of Web Services. Choreography and Orchestration are defined as sub-classes of service interface for describing how the functiona...

In this paper we describe how we handle heterogeneity in web service interaction through a choreography mechanism that we have developed for IRS-III. IRS-III is a framework and platform for developing semantic web services which utilizes the WSMO ontology. The overall design of our choreography framework is based on: the use of ontologies and state, IRS-III playing the role of a broker, differe...
